Services and Fees
You don't require a referral to book an appointment with us, however sometimes they can be helpful as they can provide us with a little bit more information about your child and can also allow you access to Medicare Rebates (for example with a Medicare Care Plan).
We accept referrals from:

- Support Coordinators and Nurses
As a specialised service we only accept referrals for infants, children and adolescents.

A standard consult includes:
Please note, a standard consult does not include NDIS report writing and quotes, in depth reports or liaison with other team members, attending team meetings, writing meal plans or other written resources. We are more than happy to provide these services but these need to be discussed with your treating dietitian and they will give you an estimate of cost and how much time this will be.

- Fussy and restrictive eating
- Food allergies and intolerances
- Increased weight gain or paediatric obesity
- Micronutrient deficiencies (e.g. iron deficiency)
- Gastrointestinal conditions (e.g. coeliac disease, crohns disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, short gut, constipation)
- Endocrine conditions (e.g. Type 1 diabetes, hyperinsulinism)
- Genetic syndromes and disorders
- Autoimmune or Autoinflammatory Conditions - e.g. Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
- Enteral or tube feeding - NG, PEG, JEJ feeding
- Adolescent sports nutrition
- NDIS support, feed management, AT assessments and applications for pumps and NDIS report writing
A standard consult includes:
- complete a nutritional assessment
- development of a suitable plan based on current evidence and national / international guidelines
- support and counselling through advice and education
- if desired, a brief letter will be sent to your referring doctor informing them of our assessment and our recommendations

Our Fees
PRIVATE / MEDICARE / NDIS:
We are a private billing practice and do not bulk bill. If you have a GP Management Plan you will be eligible for a $60.00 rebate following your consultation. If you have reached the Medicare Safety Net, you will receive 80% back on all fees from Medicare. GP Management plans expire after 12 months and you are entitled to 5 x rebates per calendar year.

Available Rebates
GP Chronic Disease Management Plans OR Team Care Arrangements
This plan gives children access to 5 x allied health rebates per year, each Medicare rebate is worth $60.00. To access a Medicare Rebate you will require a referral from your GP - either a CDM or TCA referral. Please be mindful, we are a private billing practice and this rebate does not cover the full fees.

We will also participate in Multidisciplinary Case Conferences with GP's and other allied health colleagues as needed.
If families have Private Health Insurance - they may be eligible for private health rebates for dietetic consults. We suggest that families contact their private health insurance companies prior to the appointment to confirm their private health rebate amount. NDIS
We currently only accept clients that are self managed or plan managed under the NDIS scheme. We are experienced in managing home enteral nutrition support patients our team has a combined four decades worth of experience in managing complex enteral nutrition support and tube feeding. Our team includes specialised paediatric dietitians who have completed post graduate training and courses and each individually have over 10 years experience. Our team includes fully trained and qualified feeding therapists for SOS and DOR feeding therapy models.
This plan gives children access to 5 x allied health rebates per year, each Medicare rebate is worth $60.00.
